Student Travel Insurance Plans

Are you a student who will be studying outside of your province or country next semester?  Did you know that your provincial health care plan offers limited coverage for emergency medical care outside of your province of residence?

A student travel insurance plan provides you with emergency medical coverage, including ambulance services, hospital room charges, treatment by a doctor, diagnostic testing, and in-hospital medicine.  The plan is available to students age fifty-five (55) and younger, can cover multiple family members, and can be purchased for a term of four (4) to twelve (12) months, depending on the duration of your studies.  The plan also provides you with coverage for trips you may take while studying abroad.

Are you on a University or College sports team?  For an additional cost, the student travel insurance plan can also provide student athletes with coverage over and above their school’s medical coverage.
