Costen & Associates is proud to announce that we are sponsoring the Alberta Ride for Sight again this year!
The Ride for Sight is Canada’s longest running motorcycle fundraiser in support of sight-saving research. The ride takes place across Canada, bringing together thousands of riders and volunteers to raise money for the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
The Foundation Fighting Blindness has a vision to restore the gift of sight to people living with genetic forms of blindness. Founded in 1974, it has grown to become Canada’s leading private supporter of retina research.
The 2014 Ride for Sight is taking place at the Ponoka Culture & Recreation Complex in Ponoka, Alberta on Saturday, June 21st. The event promises to be a fun one, starting off with a group ride, and including a motorcycle parade, silent auction, live entertainment, a comedian, balloon artist, face painting, motorcycle vendors/tradeshow and free camping.
For those of you residing in Calgary, the motorcycle parade will kick off from the Bearspaw Lions Club at 9:00AM. The parade leaves Edmonton at 8:30AM from Cycle Works West, and from Red Deer at 11:30AM from Turple Bros.
